This committee observes and documents Common Loon presence and activity on Molasses Pond, identifies active nesting sites and conducts periodic loon counts. The committee also consults with knowledgeable entities such as Maine Audubon and recommends measures to protect and enhance loon populations and nesting sites on Molasses Pond.
